Linessa Dan Lin is an assistant professor of anthropology at Renmin University of China. She holds a PhD in anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her current work centres on critical analysis of ethnic and racial encounters of African traders' everyday lived experience in a (de) globalizing China.
