David Borgonjon is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University. His dissertation studies the history of racial capitalism through the Chinese media of Indonesia. He also teaches contemporary and modern art history at Rhode Island School of Design, and does some art writing.
